Sermon Description

Heb 11:6

  • 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Num 15:37-41

  • 37 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
  • 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
  • 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
  • 40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
  • 41 I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.

Mal 4:2-4

  • 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
  • 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
  • 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Luke 8:40-48

  • 40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
  • 41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
  • 42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
  • 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
  • 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
  • 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
  • 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
  • 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
  • 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Matt 23:37-39

  • 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
  • 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
  • 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
